Jael's been very into playing princess lately. The first day she wandered around all morning looking for her prince. The problem? Her little brother wanted to be Spider-Man. He's much cooler than Prince Charming. He was more than willing to marry her and dance and save her and all that jazz, but he was NOT going to be Prince Charming. Finally she decided she'd have to settle for Spider-Man.
While Princess Balerie and Spider-Man were dancing. Princess B. was convinced that I needed to do nothing but sit and watch them. After a while I told her I needed to get up and finish cleaning and get dinner for when my Prince Charming got home. They looked at me like I'd grown a second head. Jael says "who's your Prince Charming?" So I told her Daddy. Fast forward about a half hour. Aaron opens the door and Anson yells "It's Prince Charlie!!!"
We have Prince Charlie and Spider-Man, but no Prince Charming here.

New Tricks
My baby has decided to have all sorts of developmental growth spurts all the sudden. He's all over the place and loves to eat anything he can get his hands on (much to the chagrin of his older siblings). He can get himself up to sitting. He thinks that's great because now he can empty his toy basket and spread it all over much easier. He does so regularly. He gets up and crawls on all fours some now too. Usually he goes about three of four "steps" and then gets this look like "this is way to slow." Then he promptly flops down on his stomach and army crawls really fast. Then yesterday, I turned around and saw this (see picture below). He was pretty smug about the fact that now he can spread the laundry basket contents too. Funny Baby. Not too much longer and he'll be walking. Time to baby proof again.

Fourth of July Pictures
We spent the week of the Fourth at my parent's house in Oregon. These are some of my favorite pictures.
